Inspired by Labrinth and Zendaya's song "I'm Tired", this digital painting represents Kayla's feelings of being burnt out by life and how she tries to handle this burn out in a way that is healthy instead of self destructive. Usually being suicidal and unable to cope, Kayla feels that as she matures it is time to accept life for what it is and deal with the feeling of being burnt out in a way that is more discerning. 

By using both phrases "Hey lord, you know I'm tired" and "Hey lord, you know I'm trying", Kayla shows that although she is tired, she is still trying and fighting for a life that she wants and deserves instead of giving up.
